Cottage 09 is located in The Cottages at Jekyll Island community, Jekyll's premier oceanfront residential vacation spot. The Cottages at Jekyll Island is located north island and is a short distance from Driftwood Beach, Horton Pond, and the fishing pier. Bike Trails, 63 holes of golf, a tennis center, horseback riding, the Georgia Sea Turtle Center, the Landmark Historic District, and the Beach Shopping Village are just some of the amenities Jekyll Island has to offer.
The Cottage's south dune access is at your backdoor and fabulous ocean views are too! Cottage 09 is a two-story townhome-style cottage and has the largest heated square footage of any of the rental cottages. The Osprey floor plan includes 3 bedrooms, 3.5 baths with master (King) on the first floor and 2 bedrooms, each with Queen Beds and private baths on the second floor. Open kitchen equipped with stainless appliances, island, and breakfast bar. Large dining and expanded living area (sofa bed) open to the paver patio with gas grill. Full laundry on the second floor. Both second-level bedrooms open to a large balcony with seating for 6. This is the perfect spot to enjoy the tranquil ocean views and soft ocean breeze. This cottage includes 3 adult bikes, 4 passenger golf cart, and a sea kayak. There is also a Tesla EV outlet located in the single-car garage. In addition, guests have access to The Cottages at Jekyll Island million-dollar oceanfront amenities, which include Clubhouse with Billiard Table, Fitness Room, zero entry pool, beach deck, beach access, and a community fire pit. Guests staying in Cottage 09 receive a 50% discount on food and beverages at McGarvey's Wee Pub located in Jekyll Island's Beach Village.

The Cottages beach is approximately 2000 linear feet and has a dune area and seawall that runs the length of the Cottages oceanfront property. There are 3 dune crossovers to the sand area landside of the seawall that are always accessible, and that area can be used for recreational purposes. The access to the beach over the seawall is centrally located at the pool & clubhouse. At high tide, the water is at the seawall. The tides change every 6 hours from low to high tide. A tide chart will help you plan your beach time. The nearest beach park with ocean access all day is Oceanview Beach Park, appx 2 miles south just past the Holiday Inn.
