There are a few things to keep in mind before you come on board the Emerald Princess Casino. First, while there is no strict dress code, it’s recommended that guests wear the same type of apparel they might wear to a club or a nice romantic restaurant. It does get a bit chilly at times, so it might be helpful to bring a light sweater. Guests must be at least 21 years old and must present a valid government ID to get on board the ship.

Monday through Wednesday, the Emerald Princess Casino doesn’t sail. Besides these days, though, their cruises sail as follows:
- Thursday: 7 p.m. to midnight
- Friday: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and again from 7 p.m. to midnight
- Saturday: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and again from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.
- Sunday: 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Cruises leave right on schedule to ensure that all guests can enjoy the full extent of their cruising time. So, make sure you’re not running late, or you might get left behind! It’s recommended to arrive at least 20 minutes before the time when your cruise is scheduled to leave.

Directions from Jekyll Island Vacation Rentals
Getting to and from the Emerald Princess Casino in Brunswick is quite an easy journey. As we mentioned, it’s just a 15-minute trip from our Jekyll Island cottages, or if you’re staying in one of our St. Simons Island rentals, it’s about a 20-minute drive. The Emerald Princess Casino is located at 1 Emerald Princess Drive.
From Jekyll Island, you’ll start by making your way to Perkins Street. Then, turn left onto Captain Wylly Road and take a right onto Beachview Drive N. Follow this road for 1.4 miles. At the traffic circle, take the first exit onto GA-520 E. After 6.5 miles, turn right onto Gisco Point Drive, and after another 0.6 miles, you’ll find the Emerald Princess Casino on your right!
From St. Simons Island, start by heading northeast toward Demere Road. You’ll come to a traffic circle, exit onto Frederica Road, and follow this street for 1.2 miles. Turn right onto Kings Way, then follow for another 1.2 miles. You’ll then continue onto Sea Island Road, take a slight left after 0.3 miles, then keep right to continue on Torras Causeway. Continue for 1.7 miles; the road will then change into F. J. Torras Causeway, and you’ll keep following it for another 2.6 miles.
At this point, you’ll want to turn left onto US-17 S/Glyn Avenue. Continue for 4.2 miles, then turn left onto GA-250 E. After 0.1 miles, you’ll turn left onto Gisco Point Drive, and you’ll find the Casino on your right.
