You can even reserve your spot online, making it easier than ever to secure a place for your boat for the night. The Jekyll Harbor Marina is located between St. Simons Sound and St. Marys.
Marina Amenities
If you’re storing your boat at the Jekyll Island Harbor, there are plenty of amenities to take advantage of. Once you dock your boat, you can enjoy free WiFi Internet access, allowing you to surf the web or catch up on social media. You can also enjoy a meal at the on-site restaurant and bar, offering fresh seafood just steps away from your boat. Alternatively, if you want to cook your own meal, take advantage of the picnic area and gas grill.
The Jekyll Harbor Marina has everything you need if you plan to spend some time fishing. You can purchase frozen bait right here at the Marina, then when you get back with your haul, there is a convenient fish cleaning station for your use. Then, you can take your fish to the gas grill and enjoy a delicious dinner!
Of course, you won’t want to spend your entire time at the Marina. Luckily, you can borrow a golf cart to take around the Jekyll Island trails! Alternatively, if you’re interested in Jekyll Island bike rentals, you don’t have to go far. The Marina offers bicycles for your use, so you can head out to the Jekyll Island trail system and explore at your leisure.
Finally, you can find plenty of features that will come in handy after a long day (or more) on the water. You’ll find on-site washers and dryers, a swimming pool and hot tub, individual restrooms with showers, and even an area to walk your furry friend!
Boat Storage
Now it’s time to discuss the biggest appeal of the marina: boat storage. You’ve got two options here: docking and dry storage.
Floating dockage is available for passing boaters who are in the area for shorter periods of time. You’ll find an 850-foot face dock that runs parallel to the current for easy dockage. Vessels up to 150 feet will have more than enough room here. You can book an interior wet slip if you want to store your boat annually.
The team here makes it easy if you’d rather opt for dry storage. You can simply hand your boat over to the marina staff when you come in from a day on the water. They’ll store it for you and ensure everything is cleaned and taken care of. You can then schedule a launch time for your next excursion, and when you arrive, your boat will already be docked and ready! On request, the staff will also provide ice and fuel.
For indoor storage, boats up to 34 feet and 1,200 pounds are permitted. The marina also maintains outdoor racks for boats up to 40 feet in length.
Making Reservations
To serve dockage for your boat or to enquire about dry storage, Jekyll Harbor Marina uses the Dockwa platform. You can conveniently pay for your reservation online! Alternatively, you can pay at your boat when you get to the marina or stop by the office and pay once you’ve had a chance to settle in. Finally, you have the option to call or email the marina with your request, and a member of their team will get back to you to finalize your arrangements.
