Beach House Restaurant and Tap Room
Whether you want to enjoy a delicious drink or check out one of the best Jekyll Island restaurants, the Beach House Restaurant and Tap Room is a great option. This casual and relaxing restaurant has long been a favorite establishment of locals and visitors alike, giving you the option to enjoy the inviting dining room or take your party onto the breathtaking patio.
We assume you’re here to hear about the drinks, and they’ve got plenty of them! At any given time, patrons will find a wide selection of local beers on tap, including varieties like American pale ales, IPAs, blonde ales, lagers, and more. You’ll also find your favorite classics like Bud Light, Michelob Ultra, Yuengling, and others.
Of course, there are also tons of delicious food options for you to pair with your drink. Enjoy seafood favorites like the Gulf grouper or the crab cake entrée, or if you want a land option, try the Island Ribeye or the Beach House Ribs. If you just want to share an appetizer with your friends, check out the Beach House Pretzel or the fried calamari.
Beach House Restaurant and Tap Room is located at 715 North Beachview Drive. They are open daily for breakfast from 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. They are also open for lunch and dinner Sunday through Thursday from 12 noon to 9 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 12 noon until 10 p.m.
Eighty Ocean Kitchen and Bar
If you’re searching for something a bit more upscale for your dining and drinking experience, make your way to Eighty Ocean Kitchen and Bar. This establishment is proud to feature mouthwatering food and unique, inspired cocktails in its open-air, oceanfront dining room. You never have to leave the water to have a great evening!
For your drink, you’re able to select from their extensive selection of red, white, and sparkling wines, as well as several drafts and bottled beers. However, it’s more than worth it to try one of their specialty cocktails! Try a new twist on the classic favorite with a Peach Mule, sample a refreshing Raspberry Bellini or Spa Colada, or try something unique with the Georgia Heat (made with jalapeños!).
Hungry, too? There’s plenty to choose from on the menu. This establishment is open for every meal of the day, but dinner is by far the most popular time to come. Guests can choose from sumptuous menu options such as halibut puttanesca, stuffed Portobello mushrooms, Margherita pizza, and so much more.
Eighty Ocean Kitchen and Bar is located in the Jekyll Ocean Club at 80 Ocean Way. They are open daily for breakfast from 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., for lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and for dinner from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The Wharf
One of the most recently renovated and updated Jekyll Island bars, The Wharf offers breathtaking riverfront dining and drinking, perfect for enjoying a fun and relaxed evening with your friends. Come in to enjoy a specialty cocktail while you listen to some talented local musicians perform, try some delicious menu dishes, and witness some of the most picturesque sunsets that the island has to offer.
If you want a drink that’s a bit more familiar, you’re welcome to try a glass of white or red wine, get a draft beer, or go for a cider. However, we would definitely recommend checking out some of their signature cocktails! The Jekyll Island Tea is a local favorite, and literature lovers are sure to enjoy the Tequila Mockingbird. If you’re visiting on a particularly hot day, the Strawberry Frosé Slushie is just the thing you need to cool off!

As far as your food options, The Wharf has a little something for everyone. You can start out with a selection from the raw bar or a delectable appetizer like the lobster mac and cheese. Then, move on to entree selections such as the Classic Fish and Chips, Wild Shrimp Platter, or Jekyll Soba Bowl.
The Wharf is located at 370 Riverview Drive. They are open Tuesday through Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and again from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Wee Pub
You might not think about visiting an authentic Irish pub while you’re spending time on Jekyll Island, but a visit to McGarvey’s Wee Pub is sure to be in order! This establishment offers a simple but diverse menu along with plenty of delicious drinks and fun live music for you and your friends to enjoy.
If you’re after a delicious beer, whether it’s a local favorite or a national brand, they’re sure to have it here at Wee Pub. They have a huge selection of IPAs, lagers, wheat beers, ciders, pilsners, and more. Many of the beers they serve here are domestic, but of course, they also have quite a few Irish beers for you to sample! And for your designated driver, they also have a few non-alcoholic beers.
The food menu here is just as unique and extensive as the drink selection. Treat yourself to a mouthwatering entree like the Pub Burger, Shepherd’s Pie, Bangers and Mash, fish or shrimp tacos, and more. At the end of it all, finish on a sweet note with the Jameson-Irish Cream Cheesecake or the Oooey McGooey Buttercake!
